Overseas Moving
FROESCH overseas move by container.
You can move with FROESCH worldwide, door-to-door and door-to-port. According to the customer's wishes, we select the optimal means of transport for each individual case: ship, airplane, truck or train. The criteria for the selection of carrier are security, speed and economy.
International shipments are overseas packed by us in steel containers, liftvans and airpaks. We ship automobiles in steel containers or by roll-on roll-off ship. We organize the export clearance and book the sea and air freight. The delivery, including customs import clearance in the country of destination is handled by one of our agents.
Our own global network of agents consists of around 120 companies. In order to acquire the best agents world-wide for our own network, and be able to meet them regularly, we are members of the following organizations:
- Federation of International Furniture Removers (FIDI)
- Household Goods Forwarders Association of America (HHGFAA)
- Latin American & Caribbean International Movers Association (LACMA)
At the annual congresses of these organizations we meet senior managers of our agents for personal discussions. In these meetings the quality of our cooperation is examined and we keep ourselves informed on the newest developments (e.g. customs regulations and transport security) in the agents' countries.
